Pacemaker: DevOps&Clouds, Dnipro, April 18
Pacemaker: DevOps & Clouds went to Dnipro again. This time about 70 SoftServers and special guests gathered in Dnipro on April 18. We came from different locations (Lviv, Kyiv, Dnipro and I. Frankivsk), teams and companies to share this day.
The morning started with coffee break and short friendly chatting in the hall of Reikartz Hotel.
Mykola Shved (Professional Training Specialist, TMG) opened the conference with short introduction of the conference idea, rules and schedule.
The whole day our speakers shared their knowledge with us. Let’s see what we heard (speeches are in chronological order):
- Anton Pogoryelyi (Technical Leader) shared his experience on AWS security
- Dmytro Batiievskyi (Intermediate Software Engineer) explain how to build infrastructure with Apache Mesos
- Serhii Poletykin (Junior Software Engineer) made introduction into AppDynamics
- Serhii Borysov (Application Architect, DevOps Community Leader) made a retrospective of DevOps and Business history
- Illia Polliul (Intermediate Software Engineer) presented Orchestration and Autoscaling in OpenStack
- Vladyslav Cherednychenko (Junior Software Engineer, the youngest DevOps in SoftServe) explain how to use Cassandra in DevOps practice
- Roman Mykhailiuk (Intermediate Software Engineer) shared his experience on Windows-specific deployments
- Sergii Klymenko (Junior Software Engineer) made Splunk Overview
- Bohdan Brailov (Intermediate Software Engineer) told about Distributed cloud monitoring
According to the voting Bohdan Brailov became “the best speaker” of this conference.
Pizza party and after party made the perfect end of the day.
